South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) submitted its Local Plan 2034 to the Secretary of State on Friday 29th March 2019 for Independent Examination.
The Secretary of State will now appoint a Planning Inspector to carry out the Independent Examination. Once appointed the Planning Inspector will examine the Plan, the evidence supporting it and the comments received, and will hear comments from those who wish to appear at the formal hearing sessions. The Inspector will then report as to whether the plan is “sound” and “legally compliant”.
