The Friends of St Mary’s support the church by helping with maintenance and providing little extras when Parochial Church Council resources are stretched.
They usually raise money for this by running events throughout the year. However, with the Covid-19 crisis making this difficult, they have been looking for new fund raising opportunities.
The Friends have signed up with Amazon Smile, which is a programme that donates 0.5% of eligible purchases on Amazon to charities.

The donation will be made to The Friends at no extra cost to you and this will help to ensure that when you want to come along to St Mary’s for the Christmas Eve Carol Service (conditions permitting), or christenings, weddings, funerals and services, the church will still be there.
