Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has asked the Parish Council to share the following information with residents.
Starting in April this year, existing childcare support is being expanded. From 1st April 2024, eligible working parents of two-year-olds will be able to access 15 hours a week of funded childcare support for 38 weeks of the year.
To access this support, parents will need to apply for a code via the GOV.UK website. They will also need to check with their childcare provider to see if this is something they are offering, as not all providers are.
Applications are open, and parents are being encouraged to apply now, and before the 29th February, as applying beyond that date could result in the code not being received in time.
