The Parish Council has been asked by Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) to distribute the following information to residents.
OCC created OXTOG – Oxfordshire Together – to mobilise and support a team of volunteers around the County to help look after their own roads, pavements and public rights of way. As part of OXTOG there is a growing team of volunteers known as Fix My Street Super Users.

Plans continue to develop for the village celebrations to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on the weekend of 3rd, 4th and 5th June.
On Friday 3rd June, there will be a Village Fun Dog Event, including a ‘Dog Olympics’ in the garden of The Plough Inn at 2.30pm. It is hoped that lots of people will enter the event, which promises to be great fun.
On Saturday 4th June, the Sorelle Singers will be performing Three Little Maids – an evening of musical entertainment with a Jubilee theme – from 7.30 in St Mary’s Church. Continue reading
Owing to issues associated with the proximity to the Easter holiday, the Parish Council has decided to postpone its meeting, orginally scheduled for Thursday 14th April, to Thursday 21st April.

Going Forward Buses, which runs the D1 bus service from Wallingford to Didcot via Long Wittenham, has announced that, owing to problems with driver availability, it has had to suspend its Saturday service that was recently re-introduced.
