Wittenham WI – A Writer’s Life in Paris. Speaker Alicia Drake.
Alicia Drake is a British fashion journalist and author. She is best known for her 2007 non-fiction work The Beautiful Fall: Fashion, Genius and Glorious Excess in 1970s Paris which focused on the rise of designers Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint-Laurent. She lived and worked in Paris for a number of years. Alicia and her family have settled in our village so please come along and support our local writer.
