The Village Fireworks Night Team writes …
As part of this year’s Long Wittenham Fireworks Night on Saturday 7th November, we’re running a Build a Guy Fawkes Competition and would love to see some creative entries from the village.
How to enter:
- Build your own Guy Fawkes at home
- Bring your Guy along to Wards Field (behind the Pendon Museum, OX14 4QD) by 5pm on Saturday 7th November
Competition timetable:
5:00pm – Entries on display
6:15pm – Winners announced
6:45pm – Bonfire lit
Whether your Guy is traditional, imaginative or humorous we’d love to see what you create. It’s a great way for individuals, families and friends to get involved in the fireworks celebrations.
So join the plot and get building!
We look forward to seeing your creations on the night.
