The Earth Trust has issued a warning that due to the warm weather there is currently blue-green algae in the pond in Neptune Wood.
These algal blooms can be toxic to all and fatal to dogs so please keep them on a lead and out of the water.

South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) has written a letter to Cllr Sue Brown, Leader of Oxford City Council, detailing its concerns over the city’s calculations on new housing needed in light of both councils’ Climate Emergency declarations and opposition to the Oxford-Cambridge Expressway.
It appears that Vanderbilt Homes has purchased the land on the corner of Fieldside and Didcot Road to develop the housing estate which was given outline planning permission in January 2018.
Residents will be aware that RWE will be demolishing the final three cooling towers of Didcot A Power Station in the early hours of Sunday 18th August.
