Kler Decision Notice

Residents will be aware that Kler Group’s planning application to realign the Didcot Road to facilitate the entrance to their housing development on the corner of Didcot Road and Fieldside was rejected by the South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) Planning Committee on 7th November.

Christmas Raffle

The Plough Inn has announced this year’s annual Christmas Hamper Raffle for their customers.   The prize is a stunning Classic Cabinet of chocolates from Hotel Chocolat with a bottle of Prosecco Superiore DOGC.   Tickets are now on sale from the pub at £2 per ticket.

Auction Boosts School Funds

The Primary School Favours Auction on Friday 23rd November was a great success.  A total of £4,064 was raised and more than fifty people attended the event which was the first in a bid to help bolster the school’s reduced budget.

Ardley Energy Recovery Tour

The parish council has been advised that there are spaces available on a tour around the Viridor energy recovery facility at Ardley near Bicester on Tuesday 4th December.  This is where waste from the black/grey bin is sent for incineration.  The tour will start at 11am and last around 2.5 hours.
