The Parish Council has been advised that because of the snow last Friday (1st February), South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) cancelled waste collections on that day for the safety of other road users, pedestrians and the waste crews.

To ensure that everyone eligible is registered to vote, South Oxfordshire District Council has sent a Household Notification Letter to all households to confirm the voter registration information for the people living in the property. Pendon Museum’s first weekend opening of 2019 will be 2nd/3rd February. It will then be open at weekends and holiday dates until December including school half-term on Wednesday 20th February.

The Parish Council has only just been made aware that Oxfordshire County Council is running a public consultation on two applications to give village green status to fields next to Day’s Lock.
