More than fifty people assembled at the village war memorial yesterday morning (11th November) for the annual Remembrance Day commemoration.

Sustainable Didcot’s Repair Café, is open on the third Saturday of every month, 2pm to 5pm in The Green Hub in the SOHA building on Station Road. Continue reading
The pop-up café at Pendon Museum will be open again on Wednesday 13th November from 10am to 12:30pm.
This is a free drop-in event, with just a small charge for drinks and cake to cover the costs. All donations from the cakes go to support a local group, so please go along and support it if you can.

The Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) School Admissions Team has asked the Parish Council to inform parents and carers of children born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021 that they need to apply for a primary school place.

The Parish Council has been advised by South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) of a new planning application within the village.
The application, at Fair View, High Street, Long Wittenham, is for the replacement of existing pitched roof garage with a pitched roof garden room.
