The pop-up café at Pendon Museum will be open again tomorrow (Wednesday 13th March) from 10am to 12noon.
This is a free drop-in event, with just a small charge for drinks and cake to cover the costs. All donations from the cakes go to support a local group, so please go along and support it if you can.

The Parish Council has been advised by South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) of a new planning application within the environs of the village.
The application, at Rosehurst Farm, Long Wittenham, is to provide necessary, secure and adequate storage for agricultural machinery, seed, fertilizer etc, and produced crops of hay, haylage and silage. Continue reading

I took a bag full of tins etc down on Friday. I was told that each time the Food Bank is open (Tuesdays and Fridays 11am to 1pm) the food is distributed to between 40 and 70 people, so it is clearly fulfilling a need. Continue reading

This year’s event, giving away locally produced compost, is on Sunday 17th March between 9am and 11am at the old South Oxfordshire District Council car park, Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford, OX10 8ED. Continue reading
