This includes household waste, recycling and food waste collections, bulky waste collections, street cleaning services, customer services and the council’s waste and recycling information.

The pop-up café at Pendon Museum will be open again on Wednesday 14th June from 9:30am to 12noon.
This is a free drop-in event, with just a small charge for drinks and cake to cover the costs.

The Parish Council (PC) has been working on a plan for what needs to be done if there is an emergency in the village.

The Parish Council has been advised by South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) of a new planning application within the village.
The application, at 54 Saxons Heath, Long Wittenham, is for a single storey rear extension and front porch.

The Village Map which hangs outside the Village Hall has been updated. The 1.18 mtr x 0.84 mtr laminated map details street and property names to aid visitors and delivery companies, and has an index with grid references.
The map was last updated in 2020. The main amendment this time is the addition of Wessex Way. Thanks to all those residents who suggested other changes. Continue reading
