Sires Hill Roadworks 5th to 8th March

It has come to the Parish Council’s attention that work is scheduled to take place at the junction of Didcot Road and Sires Hill from 5th to 8th March.

The utility repair and maintenance work will be carried out by Thames Water.  There will be multi-way traffic signals, so delays are possible. Continue reading

Attention River Users

Residents will be aware that Headington School is building a new boathouse for its students beside the road to Clifton Hampden.

Street Name Plate To Be Re-installed

The Parish Council has been complaining to South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) about the damaged road sign at the junction of Saxons Heath and Westfield Road for several weeks.

SODC eventually instructed its contractor on 30th January and said that it might take up to eight weeks for the repairs to be completed. Continue reading

Litter Picked!

Thanks to everyone who turned out for the Village Litter Pick last Saturday (25th February) morning.

It was great to see many of our regular helpers together with new faces, including some from Wessex Way.
