Every year, Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust (OHCT) organises the Ride and Stride event to raise money to keep our wonderful historic churches maintained and cared for. Both St Mary’s and St Peter’s have benefitted from grants given by OHCT.

Following the success of last year’s Village Produce Show, The Friends of St Mary’s will be repeating the event on Saturday 17th September at St Mary’s Church from 2pm to 4:30pm.

The Parish Council has been advised by South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) of a new planning application within the village.
The application, at River Bank, off High Street Long Wittenham, is for the provision of a new crossover and access drive to serve River Bank.
