This year Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Commemoration Centenary coincide, both being on Sunday 11th November.
On Friday 9th November at 2.30pm the Primary School will be holding a special assembly in St Mary’s Church.
On Sunday 11th November at 9.30am there will be a Remembrance Sunday Communion Service in St Mary’s and at 10.55am there will be the traditional Prayers and Wreath-laying Ceremony at the War Memorial on the High Street.
Everyone is welcome at all of these events.
As part of the National Commemoration the bells of St Mary’s will be rung at 1pm and those of St Peter’s in Little Wittenham at 1.20pm on Sunday 11th.
