Nine teams entered this year’s annual Rounders Tournament organised by Long Wittenham Athletics Club at Bodkins last Saturday. The winners, by a close shave, were Robs Ringers from Didcot. One of the other teams was a group of PE teachers who competed against some of their pupils.
Organiser Steve Bolton said: “It was a great family day which everyone enjoyed. It was encouraging to see a team from Long Wittenham taking part in the tournament and we look forward to even more teams taking part next year”.
