Thames Road Bridge

Residents will be aware that the Government has ‘called in’ the planning application for the HIF1 project which includes the new road bridge over the Thames.  This means that it will be reviewed by the Planning Inspectorate, and the Secretary of State will make the final decision about whether to approve the application.

The Parish Council has written to our local MP urging him to support the project.

Residents are encouraged to also write to him.  This can be a simple expression of support for the Parish Council’s letter, or you can write with your own views on the issue.
