Vanderbilt Homes has submitted another amendment to its planning application for the housing development on the corner of Fieldside and Didcot Road.
This is another ‘discharge of conditions’ which means it deals with one of the conditions specified by the planning inspector when the outline planning permission was granted for the site in January 2018.
Specifically, Vanderbilt has provided an “Arboricultural Method Statement” which details what actions need to be taken to ensure that construction does not cause any
unacceptable damage to the trees to be retained within this site and in the adjacent
properties.

This amendment is not subject to consultation, but all the documents are public (see below) and if residents wish to comment on it, they can do so by email to planning@southoxon.gov.uk quoting reference P19/S4307/DIS.
Residents are also reminded that they can still comment on the ‘Construction Method Statement‘ which was submitted by Vanderbilt at the end of February.
