For the past twenty years, Oxfordshire Trading Standards has provided free electric blanket testing for residents who have taken them to a test centre in their area. Unfortunately, this is not possible this year owing to Coronavirus.
However, testing is still available, but with a different method. Trading Standards will collect blankets from homes, take them to be tested and then return them the same day. A plastic bag and label will be posted prior to collection.
Testing will take place from Monday 5th to Friday 9th October and Monday 19th to Friday 23rd October.
