The Friends of St Mary’s will be holding their Annual General Meeting in the church at 8pm on Wednesday 20th June.
The charity runs various events throughout the year to raise funds to provide those little extras for the church when normal Parochial Church Council funds are already stretched. Its main project at present is the building of a much needed all-access toilet and kitchen to make the church a friendlier and more useful facility in the community.
Anyone can be a Friend. The modest subscription and support at events helps to maintain one of the treasures of our village.
