The Parish Council welcomed a new member to its ranks at its meeting last evening (14th September), when Mark Thompson was co-opted as councillor to replace Sally Duff who stepped down from the council in July.
In addition to dog walking, Mark’s hobbies include flying, completing a long held ambition to achieve his Private Pilot’s Licence and travel.
Although new to the area and the council, Mark is one of the village’s Emergency Plan Zone Co-ordinators.
