Neptune Wood Meadow Closure
The Earth Trust has announced that the permissive footpath on the meadow next to Neptune Wood will be closed from Monday 15th July.
The closure is to allow any dog faeces to decompose before it is cut for hay and is expected to last for six to eight weeks.

Didcot will play host to lots of free activities as the Didcot Garden Party returns this Summer.
The festival begins on Saturday 27th July with a day of events in the courtyard at Cornerstone Arts Centre in Station Road, kickstarting more than a month of fun and excitement around the town.

Earth Trust Events in August
Earth Trust will be hosting two events in August aimed at children aged two to six years.
The events will take place at the Earth Lab, Earth Trust Centre, Little Wittenham. Tickets are £10 per child (+ booking fees).

Climate Action Survey
Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has asked the Parish Council to encourage residents to participate in its Climate Action Survey.
OCC is working on a climate engagement plan across Oxfordshire to further action on carbon reduction and climate resilience at a local level. The survey will ask you about your knowledge on the climate crisis and actions that you could take to reduce carbon and adapt. Continue reading
Pendon Museum Pop-up Café
The pop-up café at Pendon Museum will be open again on Wednesday 10th July from 10am to 12:30pm.
This is a free drop-in event, with just a small charge for drinks and cake to cover the costs. All donations from the cakes go to support a local group, so please go along and support it if you can.

The General Election takes place today (Thursday 4th July) and the Village Hall will be open for voting between 7am and 10pm.
