The Parish Council welcomed a new member to its ranks at its meeting last evening (21st March), when Ian Burton was co-opted as councillor.
Ian, who lives on Saxons Heath, moved to the village in 1975. He has worked as a technician within the nuclear sector for almost forty years.
He played football and cricket locally and is currently the chairman of Long Wittenham Athletic Club and helps out as a groundsman for Clifton Hampden Cricket Club. Continue reading
