Earth Trust has asked the Parish Council to make residents aware of some art related events coming up over the next few weeks.
Opera lovers will be excited to hear that Opera Anywhere is returning to Long Wittenham to perform Mozart’s enchanting opera The Magic Flute at St Mary’s Church at 7:30pm on Friday 14th June.
The Parish Council will hold its Annual Meeting in the Village Hall at 7:30pm on Thursday 16th May. This will be followed by the council’s Monthly Meeting.

Several residents have recently been in touch with the village Community Speedwatch team, raising concerns about vehicles travelling at dangerous speeds, considerably faster than the 20mph limit, along some of the streets away from the main road through the village.
