The pop-up café at Pendon Museum will be open again today (8th May) from 10am to 12:30pm.
This is a free drop-in event, with just a small charge for drinks and cake to cover the costs. All donations from the cakes go to support a local group, so please go along and support it if you can.

One hundred and eighty-three competitors, including fifty-nine children, took part in the thirteenth Long Wittenham Fun Run last Sunday (28th April), raising money for a variety of village causes. The youngest participant was four years old and there was a dozen in the new over 65s category.
The course had to be altered because of the amount of rain that has fallen in recent weeks, but it meant the participants were able to take in some new sights around Neptune Wood. Continue reading

The Parish Council has had reports of dog poo left at Bodkins Playground on at least two occasions.
Dog owners should always clear up after their dogs, but it is particularly inconsiderate to allow dogs to foul playgrounds as it is dangerous to children.
