New Primary School Governor Wanted

Long Wittenham School is looking for a new governor to join the board of governors.

Bonfire Night 2024

November is a long way off, but plans are already afoot to get Village Bonfire Night back up and running at Ward’s Field this year.

Road To Clifton Hampden Closed

The Parish Council has been informed that there are road closed signs on the road to Clifton Hampden advising that the road is flooded.

At present, drivers are ignoring the signs, but please be aware of the potential risks of doing so.

Village Litter Pick – Saturday 6th April

The Spring Litter Pick is set for Saturday 6th April between 10am and noon.   The village has been battered by recent winds and floods and is in need of a thorough clean up.

Come along to the Village Hall where you will be provided with Hi-Viz jackets, gloves, rubbish bags and a litter picking tool.

The English Music Festival 2024

The English Music Festival is an internationally-acclaimed music festival with events held throughout the UK and abroad, but with its flagship event taking place each May in Dorchester Abbey.
