The newly refurbished bells at St Mary’s will be having a full work out on Saturday 10th June between 10am and 12:30pm when the regional Striking Competition will take place.
Teams of ringers will choose a ‘method’ – a tune – and will be judged on the way the method is rung – smooth , no hesitation and no mistakes!

The village Pre-School will be running a Quiz Night at the village hall on Friday 9th June starting at 7:30pm.
This is the third quiz night run by the school following the success of the previous events. It is a great evening for all, so please go along and support it.

The Parish Council has been advised by South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) of a new planning application within the village.
The application, at 37, Wessex Way, Long Wittenham, is to erect a studio building in the rear garden. It replaces a similar application previously withdrawn.
