Would you like to volunteer for this year’s Poppy Appeal? Last year Long and Little Wittenham raised £1,400!
I am looking for some new village poppy sellers please!
The appeal runs between 26th October and 11th November but the job could realistically be done over one or two evenings. We always try and get going as soon as the selling window opens because the supermarkets often catch our residents first!
This year we have a QR code for residents to scan (if they prefer) to make their donation on their phone so there’s no worry if they have no cash in the house (there’s no extra work for poppy sellers – the buyer does it all).
