Do you have items you no longer need that are clean and reusable? Are there items that you would find useful to have? Would you like your village to be a clean and tidier place? Then come along to the Village Spring Swapshop and Litter Pick which will take place next Saturday 21st April at Long Wittenham Village Hall from 10am till noon.
Swapshop: This has been setup to encourage the passing on of unwanted items to a good home and/or picking up something useful. Most things that are non-hazardous, clean and genuinely reusable are welcome. No money changes hands. There will be a box for those who would like to make a donation to a local cause.

- Household articles & gadgets
- Small portable mains electric items (in working order with CE mark & all necessary cables)
- Garden equipment
- Adult bicycles
- Books, DVD’s & CD’s
- Adult clothing
- Pictures & ornaments
- Curtains & soft furnishings
- Small items of furniture
- Sports equipment
Please note: Children’s items – clothes, toys, bikes etc cannot be accepted. Keep them for the PreSchool Sale.
Items can be dropped off at the village hall from 9:30am, doors open at 10am.

Litter Pick – you will be provided with HI Viz jackets, gloves, rubbish bags & litter pickers. You then choose an area of the village that you would like to ‘Litter Pick’ and when you have done your sterling work you are rewarded with tea & cake, plus the pleasure of knowing you have had a part in keeping our village beautiful. Children most welcome to join if accompanied by an adult – a great way to keep them occupied for an hour.
