The Parish Council has been contacted by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) to say that it is aware that our area has sustained multiple faults over the last year.
It has advised that in the near future there may be some planned supply interruptions to allow it to safely carry out essential work to its electrical equipment and upgrade the network. The work will involve either tree cutting and or network improvements which will help to improve the reliability of the service for the future. While the work is being done there is the possibility of residents being without power for short periods. SSEN assures its customers that safety is at the heart of what it does, and apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused.
The company has also provided a Priority Service Register leaflet for those who might need extra help during power outages.
