The Parish Council invites all residents to a meeting to discuss the revision of the Neighbourhood Plan and progress on the plans for the Community Hub and supporting houses.
Date: Thursday 21st June at 7.30pm; Venue: Village Hall
You will be aware that the planning application for 36 houses on the corner of Fieldside and Didcot Road was passed following a public inquiry last November, despite our Neighbourhood Plan. Since then there has been a further application for a housing development next to Bodkin’s Field.
This meeting will give residents an opportunity to discuss:-
- The recommendation to revise the Neighbourhood Plan so that it carries more weight when planning applications are considered in the future.
- Progress by Thomas Homes on the plans for the Community Hub and houses on the site along Didcot Road (Chris Brotherton will be present).
- The suggested design for the new village hall drawn up by a small group of residents.
